New song by Blur share 'My Terracotta Heart' and reveal Record Store Day plans
Blur have revealed new song 'My Terracotta Heart' and plans for fans in Los Angeles to hear their new album during today's Record Store Day.
'My Terracotta Heart' is the latest song to be lifted from Blur's forthcoming new album, which is released later this month. The song can be heard, in full, below. Fans who pre-order the album will receive 'My Terracotta Heart', 'Lonesome Street', ‘There Are Too Many of Us’ and ‘Go Out’ instantly.
Meanwhile, fans in Los Angeles will be able to hear 'The Magic Whip' in its entirety today (April 18) as an ice cream van travels to various record store's in the city. People who have purchased a record will be given free ice cream while anyone using the secret code 'THE MAGIC WHIP' will receive a flexi-disc featuring the Blur song 'Lonesome Street' on it.
Blur release new album 'The Magic Whip' on April 27, their first full-length since 2003's 'Think Tank' and their first to feature guitarist Graham Coxon throughout since 1999's '13'.
They have shared a number of songs from the record, including 'Lonesome Street' as well as the album track 'There Are Too Many Of Us' and lead single 'Go Out'.
The band will headline British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park on June 20. They have also been announced as a headliner for this year's Isle Of Wight festival and Benicàssim festival in Spain.
